Sheri has built a 35-year reputation for her expert media relations and public relations skills in Georgia and offers clients a unique blend of public-private experience. While serving as Communications Director and Chief Public Information Officer for Cobb County, Georgia, she kept a daily frenetic pace serving as the chief spokesperson for the 5,000-employee government.
She loves her community, SEC football and the Atlanta Braves, and swung for the fences while overseeing communications on the Cobb County team during the building and opening the Atlanta Braves Truist Park. Mike Plant, President Development of Atlanta Braves, thanked her for her work saying, “Sheri, I appreciate all the support and the commitment you made to make our legacy happen.”
Sheri cut her teeth writing and editing for a regional business magazine, serving as the business editor for the Marietta Daily Journal and contributing writer for Cobb Business Journal. She has managed two Atlanta public relations and marketing agencies during her career and among many others, has done work for Google Georgia, Georgia Chamber of Commerce, Cobb Chamber of Commerce, Georgia Alliance of Community Hospitals, Cobb Travel & Tourism, InfoMart and Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Metro Atlanta.
When not helping clients put forth their best image, Sheri recharges with her husband and son with toes in the sand on Florida’s gulf coast and in the hills of the north Georgia mountains.
