Edward Miller is CMC’s Managing Partner, a role that taps a lifetime of experience and expertise and puts it work for CMC and its clients. Whether he’s coaching CMC’s team of writers or helping a client navigate a complicated situation, he embraces his role as leader, coach, and strategist.
Edward draws on decades of work as a journalist, providing CMC’s clients with an in-depth understanding of the media and how it works. He has been a journalist and author, an executive editor and CEO of regional newspapers, and a leadership and writing coach for organizations around the world.
Edward’s a natural when it comes to developing media strategies for rapid-response crisis management. His interview skills are invaluable when surveying employee satisfaction at a company. And his ability to break down complex matters into readable content is among the best in the business. He’s a storyteller, plain and simple.
He lives a good life, traveling with his wife, Cindy, studying French and reading thick nonfiction books, especially those about politics and history. His stories are hard to top — among them living in Paris in the 1960s, sharing cigarettes with the former Prime Minister of Israel Golda Meir, and holding the journalist microphone when President Richard Nixon turned and said, “I am not a crook.”
For Edward, life is an adventure, and he relishes the surprises that each day brings.
