Case Study: Strategic Communications for University Cancer & Blood Center
University Cancer & Blood Center, a network of cancer-treatment centers across northeast Georgia, needed a communications plan to ease the way through a name change and corporate restructuring.
Working with the CEO and leadership team, we studied the company’s values, audiences and objectives, then fashioned and helped manage a media plan to promote the name change and explain the restructuring to the community.
CMC also helped the network avoid potential damage from a federal report that inaccurately blamed two of its physicians for something they had nothing to do with. Our team is in its third year of working with UCBC, assisting with on-going marketing and communication initiatives that range from ad placement and press releases to website content and social media.
