Kimberly met Cindy more than a decade ago while they were earning their master’s of business administration degrees together at Kennesaw State. Several years later came a chance meeting at the grocery store, which led to a more purposeful conversation at Starbucks and, presto, Kimberly joined the staff of Cindy Miller Communications.
Besides managing projects, creating business strategies and writing content for CMC, Kimberly is a busy working mom to Parker, 10, and Vienne, 7. She and her husband, Mark, and their children love to take hikes when the weather is good and play board games when it’s not.
One of Kimberly’s passions is reading. She enjoys reading about science and technology and two of her favorites are “Guns, Germs and Steel” and “Sapiens: A Brief History of Mankind.” Before bedtime the whole family, including the dog, read together in a big, happy pile. Well…the dog doesn’t read, but she’s a great snuggler. Kimberly lives by the mantra that the family who reads together, stays together.
Kimberly is an avid participant and supporter of art and theater. She’s performed in many musicals over the past thirty years. While in high school she was cast in her local community theater’s rendition of “Barnum,” where she learned how to juggle and went on tour with the show in Japan. She still enjoys singing at home, playing the piano and learning to play the ukulele. She is also the PTA Reflections Chair at her kids’ school. This program promotes artistic creativity from kindergarten through high school.
Kimberly enjoys working on DIY projects in her home. The past few years she and her family have revamped their kitchen, deck, fireplace and dining room. Kimberly has painted more square feet than she cares to remember but in the end she’s always happy with the results.
